In other news I would like to point out that I went on a job rant on the net for a few paragraphs. Fight Club the movie was a giant $37 million USA and $71 overseas job rant that lasted hours. I am not the ONE single person out there who has noticed hiring averages suck.

There is a genre of books springing up on Amazon dot com about the dangers of the "Internet Personality." For example "Unplugged: My Journey into the Dark World of Video Game Addiction" by Ryan Van Cleave a University Professor. Online blogs, dating profiles, and MMO games let people really long-term pretend to be the millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars they thought they would be as kids. Plus vampire, elf, alien and wizards in addition to the basic TV lies. You can live in a world where you only post the good things that happen to you, and never hint at the bad... It is addictive to such an extreme they have many 12 step programs for it now. Some say it has it's origin in the same ideas behind the fight club quote. I don't think the Internet and Gaming fully "cause" self esteem or health issues. People can be addicted to eating food, what are humans going to do NEVER eat FOOD? Yet they can be sign with overuse that other problems already causing a lack of normal self esteem, health attention, and positive affirmation focus are becoming more extreme. It can be a vital warning that something else in your life is being ignored.
