They thought Albert Einstein was mentally retarded and disabled until the age of 9, because he could not speak well for many years. It turned out he was a genius. Sometimes society just doesn't understand some people well. No one ever said life was going to be perfect and pain free every second. We all have to struggle some days, as society has more and more forces that toss people away as useless.

He was three years old before he started speaking, and it took him several more years before he was fluent. He did not read until he was seven, and his poor performance in elementary school caused many people to suspect he was mentally retarded. When called upon, the boy would take forever before answering, often silently mouthing the words to himself before slowly uttering the words aloud.
