Freedom except for all the people who could not vote or own property for over a hundred years-women & minorities. You could drive a truck though all the holes in what grade school teaches as “history” A great deal of this has to do with school books being controlled by parent groups. These parent groups are run by rich old money families with so much free time they can obsess on what is taught as history. They are not busy on their feet working a customer service jobs. They don’t want the real reasons behind their old family wealth found, and so all the teachers can say is “freedom.” It is not until college that real history is barely uncovered.
