Post 17 Shadow Self Portrait at Sunset photo of the day.
This photo is called “Shadow Self Portrait at Sunset”. Sometimes this year I have to cut back on walks due to bad stomach, foot, and back pain. I am in an injury lawsuit at the present moment. Yet I didn’t have to use my cane so much on a day where the weather was really nice this week. I could therefor take some nature blog photos. It had been icy for weeks in Texas, and so it was very nice to get out a bit, and enjoy the sun. The dogs agreed, and were whimpering to go for a walk. I found a nice place near the lake to walk them on nature trails. They bounced with glee to be out for an extra walk. I started to take photos for my blog of trees, rocks, and the lake. Then had the happy accident when taking nature photos of taking a bit of a self portrait in shadows at sunset. The first shadow portrait was sort of good looking, but only contained my feet. Then I got the dogs to run next to me and take a full shadow self portrait. Oddly, they understood what I was doing with the camera, and kept trying to jump into the photos on purpose. It turned out better compared to many of my more “planned” photos in this lake set.
