More on not an elitist.

I want to make a t-shirt that says that I am not an elitist; I just have social anxiety some days. I don’t hate you, I just hate most human contact. I did not make this joke graphic, yet I understand at once that they mentioned people thinking you “hate people” if you are a natural introvert. Anxiety is a very hard medical condition to have. If a person has a broken leg, other people don’t think they won’t walk around a room because they hate the occupants personally. Yet if a person with anxiety wants to be alone, people around them often feel avoided, personally hated, or that the anxiety person is shaking with anger. It is fear of all humans everywhere equally after I have had a bad night of nightmares about the past. It is NOT love of only Christian blondes or something weird like that issue. In fact YOU are the one being prejudiced against someone with a medical disability to emotionally project that kind of hatred and negativity on people with anxiety. It happened to me several times at school registration this year that people said to “stop shaking with anger” near them. I am a new person, in a new town, filled with new people it is amazing I have met people. I had to laugh it off, and tell them it was NOT hatred. I wonder how many people have made this mistake, and NOT been bold enough to tell me?
