poedaughter7*Evil Inc. Comic Removed due to Artist Complaint.* - Reviews are meant to be free advertisement for myself and other web-comics. If any artist at all or in part dislikes being reviewed I will quickly take it down whenever requested. I got just such a request this week from a famous web-comic author. However the old saying "There is no such thing as bad press." does apply to the fact that the more things are printed about you the more word of mouth sales you get. I am not claiming to have created the comic, and have given the authors full credit. In addition in the United States we also have a thing called Freedom of Speech and the First Amendment which indicates I as a human being am allowed to have feelings and opinions about things. His comic creating books do in fact have outrageous income promises that he says his web-comic techniques are automatically generating. Unfortunately the vast majority of web-comics that are a few doodles tossed down do NOOOOTTTTT make that much money! I got accused of making money by the IRS and many government agencies that I was NOT at ALL making, and had a lot of financial and legal problems this year after trying to make a web-comic. Readers need to be warned of the “dark side” of making your writing look too successful too fast on the Internet. Fines can be imposed and school scholarships can be cut when the government hallucinates publishing is making you extreme cash.
