My Technorati rating this week is 21764 (up from its lowest popularity rating of 40878) at Frozen History Seven Publishing out of about 3 million entertainment review blogs. It is listed here: technorati.com It is getting to be a big deal in book promotional blogs even if it is still at hobby-blog status.

Reviews: This week’s Super-Comic Saturday Review is the online comic “Bobby the Fetus”. It is also a review of how the Duck web-comics site is doing since it restarted. It was broken for many months, and completely offline. Despite being one of Allan Moore’s top rated self-starter web-comic sites on E-How. It has been a long time promoter of self-published comics which are a time honored way to get into cartoon and comic drawing as a portfolio builder. Unfortunately, like most everything during the recession it has hit hard times. So it shut down for a while, but is back up and running. Yet how well?

Bobby the Fetus is a stick figure, or rather stick fetus comic based on the daily life of a young person in Iceland who is a college student getting his BA in social work. It is self described here: “This is a comic that is all about a fetus named Bobby. Bobby is no ordinary fetus but (s)he's a fetus with many different interests and unsatisfying need to explore things. Almost nothing is irrelevant to Bobby as he's about to show you.” The Fetus may also wear Kiss makeup from time to time. This week’s Kiss makeup free fetus is amazed the Duck has returned to running status. However this does not guarantee any increase in art or content to it’s cartoons, so that is a bit of a drag. Way to go Bobby Fetus! This cartoon shows that the Duck is indeed back up and running. In addition, it is running well with many new advertisers.
One of the few things it lacks is a “regular” update schedule or storyline. Another comic has this issue once again. Yet the jokes are so funny I forgive that little detail. I say check it out!
