More on the Real Challenge.
Oct. 6th, 2014 01:16 amI am marking my employment status back to “student” again. At least with being a student on grants, loans, and scholarship you know where you stand. The recession is far from over.
Getting work for the Austin Independent School District is not hard. Getting PAID to do the work is the real challenge. I just found out that AISD did NOT re-hire me, and called on-school job tasks I did for them “Volunteer Work” instead. Like characters in some sort of gangster movie, you have to get the money up front with schools and government work here in the USA.
Thanks to my aunt and mom who paid for a trip to Corpus Christy. I went to Corpus Christy deal with the family emergency of my sick aunt. Anne, Alexandria, and I went, and even got to see the Aquarium. Things are now much better.
